How does LeakPeek work?
LeakPeek is a search interface, not a database. When you search for an email address, username or other detail, the search runs in real time and the answer is shown to you as it comes back.

Add an email address or username to watch. We keep re-checking it and email you when it appears in a newly exposed breach, so you can change the password quickly.
Face search
Upload a photo of yourself and see where your face appears on public websites. Each result links back to its source, and you can ask for your face to be kept out of future results.
US public records
Look up your own name, phone number or address and see what is publicly listed about you across the United States. You can have your home address and phone numbers withheld from our results.
UK public records
See what is publicly listed against your name and address in UK sources such as the edited electoral roll, phone books and directory listings, or look up a UK sort code to see which bank and branch it belongs to.

LeakPeek is not a consumer reporting agency and does not offer consumer reports. The service may not be used for any purpose covered by the US Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws.
What may be done with a search result depends on your local jurisdiction.
Transparency
As of November 2026, we have not been issued any government requests for information or secret court orders and are not currently under any gag orders.
Your rights over the information we hold are set out in our Privacy Policy. It covers the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and, where they give you similar rights, the privacy laws of California and other US states.
Common questions about LeakPeek
Is LeakPeek safe to use?
Searching does not put your details at risk. Breach search terms and results are not stored, and we keep no copy of the records. If you create an account, your password is never stored in readable form, you can turn on two-factor authentication, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy describe exactly what we do, what we keep and for how long.
Where do the results come from?
From data breaches that are already public. Every search runs in real time.
Does LeakPeek keep my searches?
Breach search terms and results are not stored. UK and US people searches are kept for 30 days so that you can reopen them, and you can delete them earlier. Photos uploaded to face search are deleted automatically within 48 hours of your last use. The full list is in Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
Can I remove my details from LeakPeek?
Yes. If you are a member, you can exclude an email address from breach searches from your Profile. You can also email us a removal request. Face search and US people search each have their own removal option. Everything you need is on the contact page.
Is LeakPeek free?
You can search without paying. Some searches ask you to create a free account first, and a plan shows the full results and adds DeepSearch and breach alerts. See our plans.
